The Ruby Tap

One of the best parts about living in Wauwatosa and these communities surrounding it: the people. And while we all know plenty of “Tosa-lifers,” it’s the “Tosa-adoptees” that amaze us.

The story of The Ruby Tap is a perfect example. Originally from Chicago via Michigan, two sister owners; Brooke and Sarah rooted themselves in Wauwatosa ten years ago. They’ve both started families here, not only at HOME but also within the Village of the Wauwatosa community.

The Ruby Tap is an homage to the sisters’ grandmother, Ruby. She’s a strong and vivacious woman who enjoyed life to the fullest – just like her granddaughters.

While everyone knows this local haunt for the wine, the famous flatbreads and truffle popcorn are reasons enough to stop in. The Ruby Tap truly has something for everyone, including a burgeoning wine club with options at all different price points.

The Ruby Tap also boasts a unique wine serving system that allows customers to pick and choose different size/types of wine that are curated by the one and only; Brooke Boomer.

Make sure to visit them at one of their locations @ Mequon or Tosa. And don’t forget to read about Ruby Tap’s latest happenings on Ruby Tap social media sites.
